*UPDATE* – Super Kids Therapy has increased days of service. There is availability for both land and water-based physiotherapy sessions.
Super Kids Therapy offers assessment, consultation and ongoing physiotherapy for infants, children and adolescents with:
- Neurodevelopmental disabilities such as Cerebral Palsy, Down Syndrome and Spina Bifida
- Developmental Coordination Disorder
- Developmental delay (delay in achieving milestones such as rolling, crawling and walking)
- Hypotonia (low muscle tone), decreased strength and endurance
- Plagiocephaly and torticollis
- In-toeing and toe walking
- Muscle and joint injuries and other musculoskeletal/orthopaedic conditions
- Difficulties with learning to swim
- Sensory processing disorder
- Feeding difficulties associated with delayed oro-motor skills and sensory processing disorder
Super Kids Therapy provides:
- land based therapy in clinic (Chadstone), at home, in childcare and schools
- hydrotherapy and swim instruction at Monash Aquatic and Recreation Centre
We offer specialist therapy including:
- TheraTogs
- Kinesiotaping
- Hydrotherapy
- Swim instruction
- Equipment and orthotic advice
- Neurodevelopmental Therapy / Bobath
- Wilbarger Brushing protocols (DPTT and OTT)
- Sequential Oral Sensory (SOS) Approach to Feeding
Ms Chan is the only person outside of the USA who is endorsed to teach Beverly Cusick’s Three Day Developmental Orthopedics course and is additionally endorsed to teach the One Day Certified TheraTogs Fitter – Level One and Level Two courses.
